ENUMRANGEPROXIMITYBEHAVIOR

List of ENUMRANGEPROXIMITYBEHAVIOR

NameDescription
AnchorSeekingAnchor-based proximity (default). The right-hand value represents the expected or target value. Proximity is highest at this anchor and degrades as distance increases. The range defines the tolerance window around the anchor.
RangeCenterSeekingRange-center proximity. Proximity is highest at the midpoint of the range and degrades symmetrically toward both boundaries. The range itself defines normality.
InsideOrOutBinary containment behavior. Values inside the range are considered valid; values outside the range are invalid. No distance or proximity scoring is applied.
EdgeSeekingEdge proximity behavior. Proximity increases as values approach the nearest boundary of the range. The center of the range scores lower than the edges.
TolerantContainmentContainment-tolerant behavior. Values inside the range score highest, while values outside the range degrade gradually instead of failing immediately.
OutsideSeekingOutside-seeking behavior. Values outside the range score higher than values inside the range. Proximity increases with distance away from the range.
